Overview
You can use Test Extract to upload a file and check how text is extracted from it before using the file in other workflows. This is useful for quickly verifying that PDFs, documents, spreadsheets, text files, markdown files, JSON files, and images are being read as expected.
Getting Started
- In the left sidebar, click Test Extract.
- You’ll be taken to the File Extraction Test section.
Actions
Test file extraction
- Open Test Extract from the sidebar.
- In the File Extraction Test section, upload a file.
- Wait for the extraction to complete.
- Review the extracted text shown on the screen.
- If needed, upload a different file to compare results or test another format.
Requirements
- Available on all plans
- You must be any member of the workspace
- Supported file types include PDF, DOCX, CSV, JSON, TXT, MD, and images
