Overview
The Models feature lets you choose and manage how you interact with AI models. You can browse a large model catalog, use models directly in chat, or let routing options automatically select the best model for your task. It also helps you track usage, tokens, and costs so you can monitor activity more easily.
Getting Started
- In the left sidebar, go to Design My AI.
- Click Models.
- You’ll land on the Models page, where you can browse model options and see the available sections.
Actions
Browse the model catalog
- Open Models from the sidebar.
- View the Models section on the page.
- Use the search and filter options to narrow down the catalog.
- You’ll see a list of available models, with more than 200 options to choose from.
Use a model in chat
- Open Models.
- Go to the Use in Chat section.
- Select the model you want to use for chat.
- You’ll see the selected model reflected in the chat experience.
Set up simple routing
- Open Models.
- Go to the Simple Router section.
- Review the available routing options.
- Choose the routing setup that matches your needs.
- You’ll see the router configuration applied to your model selection flow.
Set up intelligent routing
- Open Models.
- Go to the Intelligent Router section.
- Review how automatic model selection works.
- Choose the intelligent routing option if you want the system to select models for you.
- You’ll see the routing behavior described in the How it works section.
Review how the feature works
- Open Models.
- Scroll to the How it works section.
- Read the explanation of the available model interaction options.
- You’ll see guidance on how chat, routing, and model selection work together.
Track usage and analytics
- Open Models.
- Look for usage and analytics information on the page.
- Review request counts, token usage, and cost details.
- You’ll see activity summaries that help you monitor model usage.
Requirements
- Available on all plans.
- You need to be a member of the workspace.
- No special role is required beyond being a member.
